MY LITTLE PONY POKEMON Part 1

"And so begins our tale of woe. Where my potions have predicted a cunning new foe. This creature will be, smarter than the. This force will bring a destructive spree, and wipe away all of the little ponies' glee. That is why I am here, to warn you of this great new fear. I do not know when it will come, but I can be sure that it will not be fun. Warn the others Miss Twilight Sparkle, or they will soon be hit with an unexpected startle."

Taken back by the news she has suddenly heard from Zecora, Twilight has begun hastily pacing around the library. She abruptly comes to a halt and turns to face Zecora. "Hold up there Zecora. Something you said doesn't quite sound right." "Of what I have said to you, nothing is untrue." "You said that this evil creature would be more intelligent than myself. I am one of the brightest pony's in all of Equestria, I highly doubt that this thing is anywhere close to my level of intellect." Proudly exclaims Twilight Sparkle with an arrogant look upon her face.

Annoyed by Twilights' overconfident behaviour, Zecora makes her way out of the library and begins her travels in the direction of her home. Meanwhile, Twilight has hastened her pacing back and forth throughout the library. Zecoras' words have upset her; the thought of anypony other than Princess Celestia with a higher intellect is something the young pony cannot bear.

"This cannot be happening! Who cares if Equestria is overrun by an evil force. If that force is smarter than I, then Princess Celestia may not want me to be her student anymore. She will send me to the moon and I will live out my days knowing that I am not the second smartest pony in Equestria. Actually, the moon would be too good for me, she would send me a place far worse than that! She would…" Twilight Sparkle ceases her words and attempts to take in as much air as possible. Her hasty speech has left her breathless, and out of nowhere her faithful and cheery friend Pinkie Pie is standing right in front of her.

"Hi there Twilight. I was walking by and overheard you talking to yourself. I thought it was a fun game, so I decided to talk to myself too. I found out that I really like chocolate chips; I never knew that about myself! Do you like food? I like food; food is yummy. It makes me want to jump. I once jumped all the way up to Rainbow Dash in the sky. Clouds fly in the sky. I would love to be a cloud; I wonder how much they get paid for floating up there all day long. Oh, I know Twi, I should ask Rainbow Dash if I can get a job as a cloud! I would love that so much. You know what else I love, cake. I really love cake."

With a dumbfounded look upon her face, Twilight stares blankly at Pinkie Pie and nods slowly. She has no idea what Pinkie is rambling on about, however it has distracted her from the thought of not being the second smartest pony in all of Equestria. "That's great Pinkie, but I am kinda busy right now. I just found out some tragic news by Zecora." Shocked by this news, Pinkie Pie has breathed in deeply and has left her mouth hanging wide open. "Well don't leave me in suspense Twi, what's the terrifying, horrific, notorious news that you heard?!"

"Okay, if you must know Pinkie Pie then I'll tell you. But be warned, this news has ruined my perfectly good list-making day. I was told that I am going to be sent to another planet, all alone for the rest of my years. This is all because I am not the second smartest pony in Equestria anymore. Zecora said there was this evil creature who is smarter than me. Do you know what this means Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie lets out a bubbly laugh. "Oh Twi, you crack me up. You might be a bookworm, but not even you can break the fourth wall." "The fourth what?"

With a confused look upon her face, Twilight suddenly realises that Zecoras words were not about this new beings' intelligence, but it was to warn her about the imminent destruction of Equestria. However, her realisation came too late. The ground began to shake, and books fell from the shelves. Fear struck through the hearts of the two ponies, and they wrapped their hooves around one another.

Without warning, the roof to the library caved in, and a giant wooden girder was heading for the friends. Unable to escape the path of the falling object, Twilight used all her magic to concentrate hard on her teleportation spell. Her horn began to glow, and just as they were about to meet their demise, the pair vanished from the dilapidated library.

In a far away location, a bright ball of white light appears and suddenly vanishes. There stand a frantic Twilight, and an energetic Pinkie Pie. "Ooooh that was so much fun Twi. Let's do that again." As Pinkie Pie is jumping exuberantly, her friend is hyperventilating in the hope of retaining her calm and sharp mindset. "Maybe the evil which Zecora was talking about caused the library to fall. I must find out who is behind all of this. Pinkie, are you with me?…Pinkie?" Even though Twilight searched around her, she could not find her friend throughout the darkness of the new area she was located in.

"Where exactly am I? I know, I can light up this room with my magic." A gleeful Twilight concentrates hard and her horn initiates a glowing aura. In a matter of moments her horn is shining enough to light up the surrounding area. "Now all I have to do is open my eyes and AAARGH!" The purple pony is frightened by what was discovered right in front of her face. She tumbles backwards and lands directly on her behind. As she regains focus, she concentrates on what severely startled her.

"Pinkie! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" "Oh don't be silly Twi, your heart cannot fight other ponies." Twilight sighed at the disbelief of Pinkies' words. "Alright Pinkie, now do you have any idea where we are? I haven't seen any place like this in the whole of Equestria." Surrounding the ponies was darkness which circumvented the entire area. However far off in the distance was a creature looking curiously in their direction.

"Pinkie, do you see that? This could be an entirely new species. We could be the first ponies to meet whatever this thing is. If only Spike was here, I could then have him take notes on our findings. Pinkie, get your investigators hat on, we have a new discovery at hand." "But Twilight, there is one problem with that." "What now Pinkie?" Says an aggravated Twilight. "Well I don't have my investigators hat here. I have my party hat, my dancing hat, my swimming hat, my flying hat, my tennis hat, my cupcake hat, my Celestia super duper ultimate fantastic hat, my…" "Okay, okay, I understand. But it was a figure of speech."

"Then why didn't you just say so Twi? You sure are silly at times. I bet you must feel very stupid over the things you say." As a grinning and delighted Pinkie Pie hops in the direction of the unknown being, Twilight shakes her head in disbelief, and then commences to follow in her friends' steps. After minutes of travelling towards their chosen destination, the duo arrive at the mysterious creature. "I wonder what it is." Says the jubilant jumping pink pony.

The creature had a shell on its' back, along with blue skin. Its' curly tail slowly waved back and forth as the two ponies attempted to decipher what this animal could be. "I have no idea either. It looks like some sort of turtle." "Oooooh did you say a turtle? I like eating turtle; let's cook it up and have yummy turtle stew." "Pinkie! We cannot eat our new discovery. I must take it back home to investigate everything I can about whatever it is. However, I have no idea what I should call it."

Abruptly, the creature opened its' mouth and spoke, much to the surprise of the ponies. "Squirtle. Squirtle. Squirtle." The pair of ponies were stunned that this new discovery could talk. "It can talk. This is amazing Pinkie. Do you know what this means?" "I do! Talking food! I have eaten talking oranges and apples before, but never talking turtle. Let's cook it up now." "Oranges and apples?" Says a confused Twilight who is unsure of how to respond. "Yummy, I cannot wait."

"How dare you want to eat me!" The ponies look in complete disbelief and astonishment at the talking turtle speaking pure English. "Did…did…that thing just talk?!" A frightened Twilight is quivering is horror, while Pinkie Pie is baffled over what to do now. "I hope it doesn't talk while I eat it." Aggravated over Pinkies' constant attempt to eat it, the turtle fires a blast of water directly at Pinkies' face. "Whoa, that was fun." Exclaimed the jubilant pony. "I can do that too, watch."

Pinkie breathes in as much as she possibly can and holds her breath. She releases her mouth, and somehow water fires out of the ponys' mouth directly at the turtle. While the creature is not amused, Pinkie is jumping up and down while circling Twilight. "I like you turtle. I don't know anypony that can also shoot water from their mouths. I think we could be super duper awesome ultimate amazing friends. However, turtle does taste nice." The being fires a water stream back at Pinkie, and she laughs it off like everything else that happens in her life.

While the ponies have made a new friend, a great evil is brewing and ready to take over all of Equestria.
